When does hair grow out of the roots after hair transplant?

Blood crusts form after the hair transplant. If you wash your hair once a day (as described by us to wash your hair), you can get rid of these blood crusts after about 10 days. With the blood crusts, hair also falls out, this is called hair breakage. But that is temporary. In the next 6 weeks all transplanted hairs can fall out, this is completely normal, there is nothing to worry about. After another 6 weeks of rest, the new hair will slowly start to grow. The biggest difference is noticed after about 6 months. After approx. 1 year, all of the transplanted hair roots should have given them hair, so that they can then use your full head of hair. In some cases it can take up to 18 months. Nutrition and psychology play a major role here.

Are there risks with one Hair transplant in Antalya / Turkey?

Hair transplantation under local anesthesia is not an easy procedure. As with other interventions, this one also has its own risks. Infection, for example, poses the greatest risk, but it occurs in extremely rare cases because the scalp is very well supplied with blood. Light bleeding and bruising can occur from time to time. Occasionally it can also happen that the hair transplants are not accepted by the scalp. The reason for this is a diseased scalp that no longer allows growth.

If, among other things, the direction of growth of the grafts is not taken into account, the hair will grow in different directions. For this reason, good hair transplantation needs a knowledgeable and experienced specialist.

How many sessions does hair transplant take?

In order to determine the number of sessions, several pieces of information are required, such as the density of the donor area, the size of the bald spot, the reason for the hair loss and the continuation and state of health of the hair root. If one session is not sufficient for the reasons mentioned, 1-2 more sessions can follow. The prerequisite for this is that there are enough hair roots in the donor zone. Up to 4500 grafts can be removed in one session. If this number is sufficient, no further sessions are required. Should further meetings be necessary, these can only be held after one year. The reason for this is that the hair from the transplanted hair roots only grows out completely after a year.

Before washing, you should apply the lotion very thinly to the donor and recipient areas. The lotion is absorbed by the skin and softens accordingly. You should leave the lotion on your scalp for half an hour. Avoid touching the transplanted areas when rinsing. Then repeat the same process with shampoo and rinse thoroughly.
